A spark flew out of nowhere it seems and set the whole train ablaze. There was never no way on this whole godamn earth that I ever thought it’d be saved It raced along seeming to jump the rails at every twist in the line. So beautiful was she in her mystical way, that fiery inferno number 9. It’s that RUNAWAY FREIGHT TRAIN HEART of mine it’s that RUNAWAY FREIGHT TRAIN HEART I never did figure out why she caught ahold of something inside me But as she raced right over the cliff edge, my heart went over ‘long side her. We plunged through the air that once gave us freedom, but now only passage to where The ground meets the sky and old number 9, lay crumple in a heap down there RUNAWAY FREIGHT TRAIN HEART of mine it’s that RUNAWAY FREIGHT TRAIN HEART (optional to have chorus here, if there is a solo following) I climbed to the bottom and peered inside, parts of the wreck still smoking. My heart was lying there too piled up still burning, aching for wild number 9, it was aching for wild number 9 RUNAWAY FREIGHT TRAIN HEART of mine it’s that RUNAWAY FREIGHT TRAIN HEART

Oh Forgotten Melody cling to my heart, I want you to cling to me like the dew, but you can’t cling to me, cause you’re forgotten. Still my feelings do, echo out from within, and remind me of you. Oh forgotten melody buried in my bosom, somehow I wish you’d cry out every now and again. But then again, msybe you do, and that’s why we’re still special kind of friends. In the make believe world of song, I remember you, I swear I do. Then I awoke, and you were gone, and now we’re here and we sing the songs, while the forgotten melody lives and laughs and every so often… Lets out a sign of the misplaced kind, a peep a squeek, a squawk or a honk. A glorious thing heaven sent and it’s that sound that we all live for…traces of that forgotten melody, as haunting as the fading light. Any fading light. The end of something.

Bicycle Song 03:49
Well this is a bicycle song for you my friends. Well, this is a bicycle song for you for you. Early in the morning when the birdies do cheep, singing me a sad while I’m all asleep Dreaming of the blue skies and the bright sunshine, listening to the ripple of the waters wide. Listening to the ripple of the waters wide, echo in my memory and I’m feeling alive. Well I don’t have a nickel and I don’t have a dime, but I’m riding on my bicycle and I have a good time. A cool wind’s blowing through my hair, and I’m riding on my bicycle in the evening air. When the golden rays of sunshine go kissing the brows of the beaming eyes of people now walking around Cruising on my bicycle humming a tune, cruising in the sunset that’s fading to moon. Or maybe I’m riding so soft and so sweet beneath the flower flakes falling beneath the lamplights on the street Snowflakes are falling in the dampened moonlight, Singing and I’m calling to the stars and to the night. Well I don’t have a nickel and I don’t have a dime, but I’m riding on my bicycle and I have a good time. A cool wind’s blowing through my hair, and I’m riding on my bicycle in the evening air.

Holy Budge Winters and his revival show, came from a raindrop and he’ll have you all know, a raindrop he prayed for down upon bended knee, and it put out the fires that raged in ’03. Fires were blazing by night and by day, Kelowna that summer might have been wiped away. Budge’s old homestead lay close in the path of this mighty fire monster drawing nearer and fast. 27 helicopters, 2 bombers and more, from dawn until dusk, carried out their water chores. Thousands of fire crew on the ground fought this forest fueled inferno that might never, never stop. One day Budge asked the firechief as they stared at the fire, “So when are you going to make it retire?”. The fire chief looked on as though in a daze, then he answered as Budge, he did stand there amaze, “We can swerve it and sway it and curve this hot flame, but only one thing can put it out and I’ll tell you that name. He’s the big chief on high, that one in the sky. Only god can put it out no matter how we try”. Budge was bewildered but a man with resolve, so he walked off all alone determined and involved. Bending one knee down well he sent up a prayer, though he was no praying man, he was not no soothsayer. “I’ve worked hard these years lord, while I’ve toiled this wild land. I’ve ranchered and rodeoed, am a bronc riding man. Budge Winters am I, and I don’t ask for much, can’t stand any whining, no I won’t stand fer such”. Then a raindrop did fall and splatter on the ground. Was the biggest you ever saw and it made a great sound. Then another and another and another and all the skies opened up, buckets of rain did fall. “Dear God I can’t understand how on a sunny blue day, you sent us down rain down upon this red blaze”. So he went to a church, it was closed so he went to another one, where he hadn’t been in years, he did his ‘thank yous’ then his work was done. Holy Budge Winters and his revival show, came from a raindrop and he’ll have you all know, a raindrop he prayed for down upon bended knee, and it put out the fires that raged in ’03.

The first prints on earth laid by Adam then Eve, laid in the splendour of the garden of Eden. They Knew not their nakedness, but one day they’ll see, ‘twas the moment the apple was plucked from the tree. God said to Adam, "Of all my domain, of one thing you must, by all means refrain" Eve defied God and plucked it the same, then said to Adam, "You gotta try this my man. It’s juicy and wet and very succulent and smooth, won’t you come and try a taste, see what nature can do?". PRIMITIVE LOVE, PRIMITIVE LOVE, HMMMM A womanimal struts in the heat of her play, she’s got no choice and maybe not much to say, She’s simply called to bare that part of her flesh, maybe a leg, a thigh, or a smiling gleaming fresh. You know she’s got to and he’s got to answer the call, it’s wild devouring and all consuming. Concerning a curve or a twist in a form, it’s got the power, the allure of a storm You don’t believe me, just stand on the street corner look around look around, PRIMITIVE LOVE, PRIMITIVE LOVE, HMMMM It’s springtime again and the blossoms are blooming, they send forth a fragrance while the message is looming To all who may sense that the message is near, but seem not to notice it’s unconsciously here We’re born of it earthly and earthly we tread, and carry it yearly ‘til one day we’re dead. Twisting and turning our insides the while, crying out daily for a touch for a smile A physical thing, for afterall are we, bound by our senses, our bi-ol-ogy PRIMITIVE LOVE, PRIMITIVE LOVE, HMMMM

Lucille 05:16
I need you, like the flowers, call for the dew. One look, one look, just one. Once more, once more. Time, oh time, calling back to the first time. Oh time, calling back to a cloud 9 Lying upon a current of air, a swift current that carried us two away. Far, far away. Shadows, leaving evening shadows here, Evening shadows, evening shadows disappear. Night falls, memories crawl in, I’m electrified, I’m electrified. I’m still loving you, but where does love go? Where does love go? I don’t know. Don’t call my name, I can’t go, I’m afraid I don’t know. Lose me, lose me, lose me Lucille, Lucille, Lucille

Oh My Mother 03:30
Oh My Mother, now it’s plain, to another world you go, Why you leave me, your loving son?...This hour sees me crying so. Now at last, the time has come, as a shadow in the dark. Hold my hand, take it there, as an arrow to your heart. I remember all the times now, when just a little boy, As you held me to your breast, a loving mother’s joy. I want to give you all my love now, and it brings me pain. Why you leave me crying here?...Teardrops fall like rain. And then a coldness came about. Her body lying there so still. Mother, mother, mother God bless your soul. At night I’ll look up to the sky. I know it’s there you will remain. Sending me all your love, and I’ll cry for you again.

All of my worries, and my cares all depend on nothing, nothing at all. I cannot say what time will tell. One cannot know this mystery. All I have is a wandering meandering way…Do you want to scream? Do You want to cry? I want to say what lives inside of me…of all we see before us. And I wonder sometimes if it’s the same inside., inside of you. Are you a worrier, are you wearied? Feeling blue and dreary? Does it feel like rain? Darkness and rain? Cold driving rain that will not stop? I will try to explain why it matters….It will not stop, with every step, with every thought, the sinking ship that went to sea with us. We boarded and will not return. We were born with the ticket in our hands, that’s just the way it goes. Wild as the flowers, free spirited. Some of us go blind working to forget…but the child inside knows what is true for me and you to feel alive. To truly resound within this world. Do you want to lie on your deathbed thinking of a world that might have been? Every second I do…dream a nightmare. And I wonder sometimes if it’s the same inside, inside of you. Feeling like a loner when I walk down the street. For feeling like a loner this song came to me. Now I cry out for all our souls, for all to claim one as their own. An invitation that only goes out to the brave. Do you want to scream? Do you want to cry? I see the angels reaching down to me while terror lies out before us: We are born as wild and beautiful creatures of fancy. Yet now shackled are we by the ploys of the weak and the fearful. The damaged ones among us rule our sick and diseased society, riddled with false guilt and broken promises heaped upon generations of broken promises. “How can this be?”, we ask ourselves. Maybe it’s always been like that throughout all time. And that which we need most is being beaten out of our heads since we’re little children : a belief in our own individual abilities. That, once born, become beacons of our own true natures. What could be more important than that in a lifetime? Now consider the obstacles…obstacles consciously placed in this path of self-awakening…BELIEVE IN YOURSELVES, IT’S THE HARDEST THING YOU’LL EVER HAVE TO DO…

Your love is just the one thing, keeps me satisfied. Your love is just the one right thing, gets me through the night. Well I’m charged honey super charged, well alright One lasting memory. Strange delight come a calling Strange and sweet come a calling, come on call me. Well it’s true, it’s true, my heart cries out for you. It’s true, it’s true, my hearts cries out for you, my heart cries out for you Your love is just the one thing, keeps me satisfied. Your love is just the one right thing, gets me through the night. Well I’m charged honey super charged, well alright

Gunned Down 02:43
I’ve been gunned down, I’ve been gunned. My soul’s slippin’ ‘way from my bodily form, and my life’s blood will soon drain away. As lay on the old muddy stuff in the street, where the horses tracks, dung and dust were all mingled up with the heat I could see out one eyeball, that was level with the ground, all the other eyes staring back at me from the kinfolk of the town. I could also see the sheriff with his badge and his gun, smiling as he looked at me, lying in the sun. I’ve been gunned down, I’ve been gunned down, and my life’s blood will soon drain away. The soft cry of my mother, bemoaning her pain, I remember that feeling from six years old again. I can see the whole town from above now it seems, and my body’s down there with me and my cold six year old dreams. Goodbye all you people, I’ve been loving so dear, wherever you are in this place that was here. I’ve been gunned down, I’ve been gunned, and my little soul’s slippin’ ‘way from my bodily form, and my life’s blood will soon drain away.

They almost had me believing that the goodness in being alive was the torment in working for something I couldn’t buy. They almost had me believing that taking part in their toil was good, that together we were building, hand in hand as a people could. They call me a dreamer and you know I am, they call me a dreamer and you know I can. So cold my heart it was growing, my actions stemmed from my bitterness, for all the work that I saw took root at the soul of greediness. But now my mind sees the beauty, that a city street could be. The flowers wild in the roadway, trees everywhere you could put your feet. They call me a dreamer and you know I am, they call me a dreamer and you know I can. I’d put my hands to the sowing, making the city streets so green, building the canopies of roses in who’s aromas we could meet. They call me a dreamer and you know I am, they call me a dreamer and you know I can. One day this dream it will find me planting beauty coast to coast, and there we’ll meet in the roadway while we propose to make a toast. They call me a dreamer and you know I am, they call me a dreamer and you know I can.

You can hold on to this life, that so quickly fades away But when the reaper comes for you, you might find that life has swiftly passed you by. Teardrops rollin’ down your face, but you don’t have time to cry, for this life that fades away, in the twinking of an eye. Life is sweet as it can be, for the birds up in the sky How so lively do they sing, up until the time has called for them to die. Teardrops rollin’ down your face, but you don’t have time to cry, for this life that fades away, in the twinking of an eye. Now flowers wild out in the wood, know not where they are to grow. Yet up sprouting everywhere, you can see and smell the beauty we all know Teardrops rollin’ down your face, but you don’t have time to cry, for this life that fades away, in the twinking of an eye. Now there I sat out in the wood, with the flowers bright in bloom, teardrops rollin down my face, for this robin who was singing me this tune Teardrops rollin’ down your face, but you don’t have time to cry, for this life that fades away, in the twinking of an eye.

Ay Mi Madre 03:27
Ay mi madre, ahora es claro, para otro mundo te vas. Porqué me dejas, tu hijo querido? Porqué me dejas aquí llorando? Lágrimas me caen como lluvia. Y vino una frialdad. Reposa tan quieto. Madre, madre, madre, Que Dios bendiga tu alma. Miraré al cielo de noche. Sé que te quedas ahí. Me mandas todo tu amor, lloraré otra vez por ti.
